Serie A league leaders Napoli told Manchester United the very amount to make available if they are serious about signing Victor Osimhen this summer.

The Italian side will not sell the Nigeria international this summer unless the Red Devils arrive with a bid of €150million (£132m).

Manchester United have prioritised signing a top striker at the end of the season and have reportedly lined up the likes of Tottenham star Harry Kane and Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos.

Osimhen is currently enjoying a sublime season with the Italian side, scoring 25 goals in 29 appearances with Napoli into the Champions League quarter-finals and leading Serie A by 18 points.

According to Il Mattino Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils are indeed eager to sign the striker this summer, with Osimhen likely to be keen on listening to the club should they push forward with a bid.

But Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli have decided the player will not leave for a penny less than €150m.

The Napoli chiefs will not even discuss a deal unless that offer is on the table with the club under no financial pressure to cash in on one of their prized assets.

Spurs believe that figure will be enough to deter United and remain confident of Kane signing a new contract with the club, with his current deal up in 2024.
