Chairperson of the CPP, Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Sarpong-Kumankumah has said she would have turned the National Cathedral into a library if she were the President.
She says she even though she is a staunch Christian, she doesn’t believe in church buildings but rather exhibiting a Christlike attitude to help others in need.
During her interaction with Regina Yaa Titi Okrah, host of ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Onua FM, the Convention People’s Party leader said making the site a place of learning would be more beneficial to the state rather than situating a cathedral there.
She says the economic challenges the country is facing even makes it unwise to construct such an edifice which is a personal promise by the President.
