Constituency Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal have debunked reports suggesting a simmering division between the party leadership and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Wisdom Osei Boamah.
At a press conference, the Executives described the alleged rift as “baseless, unfounded and mischievous,” insisting that there is absolute unity and cordiality between the party leadership and the MCE.
Constituency executive member, Sophia Amankwah denied claims of internal wrangling, stating that “we are in very good terms with our MCE and the rumours circulating outside are completely false and do not reflect the reality on the ground.”
According to her, the MCE has demonstrated exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the socio-economic advancement of the municipality.
“Party supporters and grassroots members continue to rally behind the MCE in good faith, recognizing his relentless efforts to deliver meaningful development.”
She further urged party faithful and the general public to disregard what they described as calculated attempts to sow seeds of discord within the party’s local structures.
The party executives reaffirmed their collective resolve to maintain unity, consolidate gains, and work collaboratively to advance the development agenda of the municipality.
