A 2-1 win by Nigeria’s Super Eagles over Ghana’s Black Stars sees the three-time African champions reach the final of the Unity Cup 2025.

They will, therefore, play Jamaica on Saturday while the Black Stars play the Soca Warriors of Trinidad and Tobago earlier on that same day.

Two first-half goals from the Nigerians – one by Cyriel Dessers and an own goal by Razak Simpson – gave them the advantage going into the break.

The Black Stars, however, emerged from the break a better side as changes made by Coach Otto Addo paid off.

Substitute Brandon Thomas-Asante halved the deficit in the 70th minute to give his side the needed hope to fight for a draw.

However, the Nigerians defended intensely to keep the score 2-1 with goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali coming between the Ghanaian attack and his goal.

It ended 2-1 at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford.

The win makes it two in a row for the Super Eagles after the 2-1 friendly win last year.
