The parliamentary primary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Manhyia South Constituency is ongoing today, Sunday July 14, 2024.
The primary has become necessary after four-time Member of Parliament Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh was nominated by the ruling party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as his running mate.
Here is vital information on the poll:
- 568 delegates expected to vote.
- Polls will end at 1:00pm but likely to be earlier considering the pace of voting.
- Delegates have been warned not to enter the voting booth with their phones.
- Security beefed up.
- All four aspirants confident of winning based on the feedback from delegates.

- Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah #2
- Akwasi Cooker Gyambibi #3
- James Owusu Boakye #4.
