Ralph Kwame Opoku Agyapong, a Bantama parliamentary candidate aspirant for the New Patriotic Party, has accused Bantama lawmaker, Francis Asenso Boakye, for “falsely” claiming projects started by the late former MP, Daniel Okyem Aboagye.

Mr. Opoku Agyapong, who is the sole contender against the former deputy Chief of Staff, has been hard on the incumbent since announcing his bid to unseat him.

Speaking on GhanAkoma Thursday, January 25, 2024, with Kofi Asante Ennin, the aspirant who is a private legal practitioner, alleged that “every single police station was started by the late Daniel Okyem Aboagye and not Asenso as he has been claiming. He has not done much to uplift the constituency.”

The junior brother of Assin Central lawmaker, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, also stated that he has integrity compared to his opponent “when my name came up on KeyPoint the last time on TV3 during a political discussion, do you remember what Lawyer Kpebu said? He queried.

“He said he knows me to be a man of integrity and that’s what defines me; my name is tagged with integrity unlike my opponent which is tagged with corruption,” he posited.
