The Manhyia South Constituency came to a standstill as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice presidential candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and other party stalwarts embarked on a health walk.
The event attracted thousands of enthusiastic supporters who joined the party leaders in the walk.
The streets of Kumasi were painted with NPP colours as supporters clad in party paraphernalia marched through the city.
Notable NPP stalwarts in attendance included General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, MP for Bantama Francis Asenso Boakye, Parliamentary Candidate for Subin, MP for Tafo Vincent Asafua, and PC for Asawase Constituency Manaf Ibrahim among others.
The health walk brought activities in the constituency to a halt as supporters cheered and chanted slogans in support of the party.
The event demonstrated the NPP’s strong presence in the region and sent a clear message of their determination to retain power.
“With the health walk, the NPP has once again shown its commitment to engaging with the people and promoting a healthy lifestyle,” a member said.
