Okaikwei North and Awoshie have become the latest and final qualifiers for the grand finale of the 2025 Onua-GC Brand Community League.
The two communities made it out of Zone 4 following a gala hosted at the Tuba AstroTurf on Saturday, August 2.
Okaikwei North started it all out against Kaneshie Awudome. It was one apiece after forty minutes of action. The former, however, won the resultant penalties 3-0.
The second match saw La-Paz Racecourse stun Nima 1-0 to make the semi-finals.
The third game between Awoshie and Dansoman Community produced no goals but the former won the resultant penalties 5-4.
The headline game of Zone 4 was between Kasoa Mankomeda and Kasoa Select Side. Just like the zone started, it ended with a similar scoreline.
But Kasoa SS beat Kasoa Mankomeda 3-0 in the penalty shoot-outs.
This paved the way for the deciders.
Both games ended goalless, plunging them into penalties to decide winners.
The first saw Okaikwei North win 5-4 while Awoshie won the second 4-3.
The winners complete the roll for the grand finale on Sunday, August 10.
From Zone 1, Ashaiman Revelations and Tema Community 2 will be at the finals at the La McDan Astro Turf.
From Zone 2 will be Adjiringanor and Adenta.
Korle Gonno and La-Nkwantanang will represent Zone 3 while Okaikwei North and Awoshie represent Zone 4.
The balloting for the fixtures is scheduled for Onua TV and Onua FM at 9:00pm.
