The Ministry of Education says Category A and B senior high schools are full, as large numbers of parents and candidates continue to seek solutions to placement concerns at the GNAT Hall in Accra.
Spokesperson for the Ministry, Hashmin Mohammed, says the situation means there are no available spaces in schools within those categories for candidates seeking placement changes.
His comments come amid a significant increase in the number of parents and candidates reporting to the GNAT Hall on the second day of the school placement resolution exercise.
The concerns being presented include requests for changes in schools, programmes and residential status.
Mr Mohammed says the Ministry is working to increase the number of personnel attending to the various concerns as it seeks to deal with the large numbers at the resolution centre.
He also says the Ministry is considering digitalising the placement resolution process in the future.
The move, according to the Ministry, is expected to help ease the pressure associated with the current physical resolution exercise.
The GNAT Hall has continued to record large crowds, with parents and candidates waiting for their placement concerns to be addressed.
