The People’s National Convention (PNC) has commended President John Dramani Mahama for his impactful representation of Africa at a recent European Union meeting.
The praise was offered by the party’s National Chairman, Samson Asaki Awingobit, during a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Sunyani over the weekend.

Chairman Awingobet stated that President Mahama’s participation and contributions at the high-level forum made Africa proud.
Shifting focus to the future of the party, a leading member and former National Chairman, Bernard Anbataayela Mornah, addressed the strategic steps necessary for the PNC and other Nkrumaist parties to become a formidable political force.

Mornah emphasized that unity among these ideologically-aligned parties is not just beneficial but essential for a strong challenge in the 2028 general elections.
He outlined several measures being put in place to facilitate this collaboration, signaling a renewed push for a united front based on the principles of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
In a move to modernize its outreach, the NEC also officially approved and launched the party’s new website. The platform is designed to serve as a comprehensive digital resource, showcasing the PNC’s rich history, core values, and current activities.
