President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Justina Nelson to act as Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Income and Investment Fund (MIIF).
The appointment was made under Article 195(1) of the Constitution and Section 21(2) of the MIIF Act, 2018 (Act 978) according to a Felix Kwakye Ofosu-signed statement issued Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
The Acting Spokesperson to the President, Kwakye Ofosu, in the statement indicated that Ms Nelson brings over 20 years of experience as a seasoned banking professional, currently serving as Group Head at Zenith Bank (Ghana) Limited with oversight responsibilities at the Energy and Commercial Banking sectors.
She possesses a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law and a Master of Business Administration (Marketing), both from the University of Ghana.
Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Management and Psychology from the University of Ghana.
