Captain Smart has dared the presidency to provide documents indicating they have provided former President Kufuor’s vehicles.
According to Captain Smart, the presidency has not given the vehicles due ex president Kufuor to him.
The host of Maakye on Onua TV also alleges the monthly allowance due the former First Lady, Theresa Kufuor, has not been provided by the Akufo-Addo government.
Captain Smart’s call is in relation to some documents parading on social media about payments purportedly made to former President Mahama.
John Dramani Mahama, the former president had said in an interview with TV3’s Alfred Ocansey that his due allowance has not been coming and he has to be paying workers in his office and foot other bills himself.
In an alleged response to his assertion, the presidency has allegedly inundated social media with receipts of payment of the allowances to the former president’s office.
But Captain Smart, speaking on his show, Maakye Wednesday, September 14, 2022 said the documents on social media is an indictment on the Controller and Accountant General’s Department to have made such documents public.
Meanwhile, he revealed the emoluments for former President Kufuor and the wife have not been coming.
