Rapper Edem, has been arraigned at the Kaneshie District Court for allegedly knocking down a woman with his car on the George Walker Bush Highway in Accra Saturday, December 09, 2023.
He was driving a Honda Touring vehicle with registration number GX 3011-19 when the incident occurred.
The court has revealed that the 40-year-old woman who became the victim for the accident couldn’t survive.
After sustaining serious injuries from the accident, she was rushed to the Police Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The ‘Love You’ hitmaker was charged with two counts of careless and inconsiderate driving and negligently causing harm when he appeared before the court presided over by Nana Abena Asor Owusu Amenyo.
