Black Stars striker Antoine Semenyo was on target as AFC Bournemouth beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

It was a Matchday 17 game in the English Premier League with new Manager Ruben Amorim seeking only his third win in the domestic league.

However, the Cherries drew first blood through Dean Huijsen, who connected to a header from a corner kick in the 29th minute.

The goal ended the first half 1-0.

A penalty awarded the visitors in the second half saw them double their lead through Justin Kluivert.

Just a couple of minutes later, Semenyo found himself in the goal area to smash home the third goal, his fifth this season.

The loss sees the Red Devils drop to 13th on the log with Bournemouth up 5th.

Manchester United now has 22 points going into the Christmas break.

They will travel to the Molineux Stadium to play Wolverhampton Wanderers next Thursday.
