The Senior Staff Association of Ghana will call off its strike tomorrow.

Leadership took the decision after government released close to GHC6 million to pay the eight months arrears of their second-tier pension scheme.

The leadership of the Senior Staff Association, Employment and Labour Relations and Finance Ministry are expected to present the outcome of their meeting to the National Labour Commission tomorrow.

Already, government through the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has withdrawn the statement purported to halt the implementation of the overtime allowance.

The Senior Staff Association of Ghana declared strike weeks ago to demand that government transfers arrears of the second-tier pension scheme to their fund managers.
