Six players have been invited to join the Black Stars in camp as they prepare for the remaining 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola and Niger.

This comes in the wake of mass withdrawals that has hit the team.

On Monday, November 11 when the team was to assemble for the must-win qualifiers, eight players announced their withdrawals.

The players including strikers Inaki Williams and Joseph Paintsil cited various reasons for their decision.

Barely hours later, some players have been invited as replacements.

They are Osman Bukari of Austin FC, Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer of Hamburger SV, Forson Amankwah of Norwich City and Terry Yegbe of IF Elfsborg.

The rest are Ebenezer Annan of OFK Beograd and Kingsley Schindler of Samsunspor.

Ghana will first take on Angola’s Palancas Negras on Friday, November 15 in Luanda before returning home to host Niger on Monday, November 18.
