The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman for Island City, Reuben Solomon Jabari has downplayed accusations that his busy schedules will affect the party if he becomes the Constituency Chairman for Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, the welfare of his constituents is his priority, and he will not trade that for something else.
Speaking on Ghanakoma morning show on Akoma 87.9fm in Kumasi with Sir John, on Tuesday, December 30,3035, Solomon Jabari reiterated that he has well-tailored measures for the people of Atwima Kwanwoma to bail them out from hardships.
“Sir John, let me tell you that my priority is my constituents and I will not despise them for anything. You see, leadership is about serving the people wholeheartedly and that is what I stand for.”
The former military officer gave these responses when he made his intentions public to contest the Atwima Kwanwoma Chairmanship position in the next 6 months.
Asked what differently he is bringing on board, Solomon Jabari disclosed that disunity affected the party in the 2024 general elections and as a unifier, he will bridge that gap to win more votes for the NDC.
Solomon Jabari continued that when he’s voted for, he will build a befitting office for Atwima Kwanwoma.
“As we speak, Atwima Kwanwoma has a dummy office and when I am given the mandate, I will use my connections to build a befitting office for the constituency,” he empathized.
The Island City Branch Chairman said women empowerment is on the list of his agenda for the constituency.
