The Minister of State responsible for State Enterprises, Joseph Cudjoe has shot down claims that the Akufo-Addo administration has failed in terms of infrastructural development.

He has challenged critics to go round the country to see the myriad of ongoing infrastructural projects being undertaken by the government for the past seven years.

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has received backlash for failing to develop the country despite securing several loans.

Even though the government has constantly claimed to have initiated infrastructural projects than any administration, yet the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) thinks otherwise.

The Effia Constituency lawmaker, reacting to the 2024 State of the Nation Address (SONA) delivered by President Akufo-Addo touted the number of schools, hospitals and other ongoing infrastructural projects undertaken by the government.

“President Nana-Addo has turned Ghana into a construction site and if you open your eyes you will see these projects,” he stressed in an interview on Onua TV, on February 28.

“What this means is that Ghana is developing, and it is imperative for NPP to be retained to enable us complete what we have started,” he argued.

Joseph Cudjoe was quick to slam the Minority Leader, Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, for castigating President Akufo-Addo over unemployment rate in the country.

He suggested to the Minority Leader to help educate and empower the youth to embark on bold new ventures instead of criticizing the government over unemployment.
