Co panelist to Captain Smart on Onua TV/FM’s Maakye has told Ursula Owusu-Ekuful and Isaac Asiamah to exhibit seriousness in Parliament and stop acting childishly.

Yaa Titi Okrah, who during a newspaper review with Afia Tagor described the feud between the legislators over a chair as display of child’s play asked “what would you tell your kids if they do same at home?”

“You behaved childishly. The video is nasty. We need seriousness in Parliament and you’re there fighting over a chair,” she fumed.

The minister of Communication and Digitalisation and the former Sports minister engaged in a near fisticuff in Parliament Thursday, November 24, 2022, during the presentation of the 2023 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the government by the Finance Minister, Kenneth Ofori-Atta.

Reports indicate the Atwima Mponua MP had taken Ursula Owusu’s seat when his own was occupied by the Foreign Affairs minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.

When Mr. Asiamah realised his seat had been taken by the minister, he moved to the nearest available seat which was Ursula Owusu’s.

As soon as she walked into the chamber, he requested her colleague to vacate her seat which he insisted, asking her to find herself a place since his own had been taken by Mrs. Botchwey.

But the Ablekuma West MP would not budge and insisted Isaac Asiamah gets up.

Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh had to intervene after series of exchanges between the two until he reluctantly vacated.
