The Ghana Police Service has interdicted an officer for possessing a pharmaceutical substance which is restricted in the country.

The officer, G/L/Cpl Shani Abdullai, was arrested at Kpalsi, a suburb of Tamale, the Northern regional capital.

According to a statement issued by the Ghana Police Service Sunday, May 4, 2025, the officer’s interdiction is to allow investigations into the substances found in his possession in connection with regulations of the Service.
