Member of Parliament for Tolon, Habib Iddrisu, has clarified the donation of ludo to his constituents which has gone viral on social media.
A picture being circulated on several social media platforms has some men in a pose with two ludos before them with an inscription indicating it was a donation from their MP.
“NPP MP for Tolon constituency donates Ludo to support youth development. The youth leaders thanked the MP for donating something that will go a long way to improve their lives,” the inscription on the photo reads.

In an exclusive with OnuaOnline Wednesday, January 18, 2023, the legislator, Mr. Iddrisu clarified that the item was donated by his party Youth Organiser.
He says he went to the community in question, Zantani, to commission electricity where his Youth Organiser submitted the ludos to the youth.
The MP says the image in circulation is a mere propaganda being spread by his political opponents to tarnish his image.
“I went to the community, Zantani, to commission an electricity project for them. I went with the deputy minister of Energy, Mohammed Amin Adam. Since 1992 they have been voting for the NDC without electricity and I promised them that if I win I will give them power. Out of the four polling centres there, for the first time I won three of them and I have provided them the electricity. But because the NDC couldn’t do that for them over the years, they are doing propaganda,” he explained.
