As part of activities to culminate the Volta fair, that has brought into the Volta regions thousands of participants from all walks of life, the Centre for National Culture in the region organized a quiz competition for private senior high schools within the region.

The contest that is aimed at testing students on the cultural policy of Ghana as well as the history of Asogli coupled with general knowledge was the last event that brought the Volta fair to a successful end.

The Volta Regional Director of the Centre for National Culture through a representation admonished the need to merge the positive tenets of societal culture with the history of achievers, as this will whip up the interest of nationalism in the coming generation.

By learning about achievers, the younger generation will be inspired to be achievers too.

Wallahs Academy Senior High School once again put up an all admiring performance to emerge as winners of the contest. Emerging as the best performing private school in the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz competition, a lot was expected of them and they lived up to expectation.

According to Maxwell Affram, Rector of the school, the school is not only into training classroom super champions, but to give a holistic training to all students by imbibing in them the acceptable norms of society. The Rector praised the trainers and students and also thanked the organizers for giving Wallahs Academy Senior High School the opportunity to showcase what they have.

Wallahs Academy clinched the trophy with 150 points followed by Sonrise Christian High School and Sacred Heart Senior High amassing144 and 127 points respectively. With Goil as the sponsor, all participating schools received cash prizes, certificates and other consolation prizes.
