The Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, on behalf of President John Mahama on Tuesday December 16, held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ghana, Abdulfatah Ahmed Khalifa Al Sattari.

The meeting was also attended by the Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Varsen Aghabekian, and Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, James Gyakye Quayson.

The meeting at the Jubilee House in Accra, marked the end of Ambassador Al Sattari’s eleven years of distinguished service in Ghana.

“Ghana appreciates the consistency and warmth with which he carried out his diplomatic responsibilities, and the positive impact his work has had in our country”. Prof. Naana Jane remarked.

The Vice President thanked the outgoing Ambassador for his service.

“We thank Ambassador Al Sattari for his service. We wish him well as he continues his journey, and we remain confident that the bonds he has helped to strengthen between our nations will endure”.
