It is the birthday of the goalkeeper of the Ghana Black Stars, Lawrence Ati-Zigi.
The team celebrated with him and threw a small party for him in their camp in Qatar.
Coach Otto Addo presented him a small cake and wished him well.
When it was time for him to appreciate his colleagues, someone said ‘ka Twi’ to wit speak in Twi –the local dialect — and he responded ‘mete brΙfo o’ to wit I can speak in English.
Zigi said “thank you all” but Partey started asking others if they could hear him out. He then told the goalkeeper to stand up and speak to the entire gathering.

He, amid laughter stood up and said: ‘Meda mo ase bebree’ to wit I thank you all so much.
