The reason he has decided to offer himself to join the National Chairmanship race to help lead the party to victory in the 2024 general elections.

According to him, the two gurus of the party failed to deliver victory for the party in spite of the unique position of the party in 2016 and 2020 presidential elections.

“What has motivated me to contest for the National Chairmanship position is the communication by the incumbent General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia who has declared his intention to contest the incumbent National Chairman,” he said.

According to him, both of them have worked together for the past 17 years and he is shocked that they are contesting each other for the National Chairmanship position.

“The two gurus of our party are simply telling us that there is the need for a new dimension to help bring all on board towards victory in 2024 elections.

“If the NDC want to win power in 2020 general elections, lets vote out the two leading members of the party the block NPP breaking the 8,” he noted.

He tasked supporters and delegates of the party to elect committed , hardworking and dedicated executives to help propel the party to win the 2024 elections.

“Election of competent and reliable executives from the branches , constituencies, regional and national would determine the calibre of leaders who could assist to change the fortunes of the party in the 2024 elections.

He said the bad leadership of the NPP is making Ghanaians cry for a new leadership which demands the commitment and dedication of all.
