Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has broken his silence on the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw held last Friday.

The draw saw Ghana fall in Group L, same as England, where the midfielder has played in the past three years.

Asked what he makes of the outcome of the event in Washington DC, Kudus, who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur, said: “It’s good to have England in the group.”

He later added: “Playing against most of the players in the country here and some of the other guys that play here as well, we are pretty much aware of the side we are facing and the quality they have, but we will definitely be up for it and be ready.”

Ghana will take on the Three Lions on Tuesday, June 23 in Boston in their second Group L game.
