Flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has revealed his initiative to support up-and-coming artistes in Ghana’s creative sector.

According to him, should he be elected on December 7, 2024, he will create platforms that will support up-and-coming artistes by giving them access to investment opportunities, education, and mentorship.

Mr. Ayariga prioritises the growth of artistes through targeted investments, creative projects, and education in his policy agenda.

“APC will build platform for artistes and producers to mentor upcoming talent, help them refine their skills and understand the industry and create platforms in each region to mentor upcoming musicians from infancy to adulthood,” he stated.

According to Hassan Ayariga, changing Ghana’s music industry necessitates a collaborative and multifaceted approach.

To do this, artistes, business leaders, public servants, and other interested parties must come together to establish a thriving and encouraging ecosystem.

By encouraging this teamwork, Mr. Ayariga hopes to solve the many problems the industry faces and realize its full potential.

Among the many strategies that an Ayariga government plan for the creative industry are the construction of modern studios and infrastructure to support the industry and invest in music, Education and Talent Development, Music Schools and Workshops.
