Captain Smart has disclosed that evidence he presented to the Ghana Revenue Authority detailing the missing of some GH₵2.1 billion at the Tema Harbour cannot be found according to the Authority.

He says those documents were the investigations at the port that got him arrested after the connoisseurs of the scheme tried to implicate him.

After appearing before a committee set up by the GRA with other journalists, one colleague from another media house, he noted, was arrested and is still in custody.

Revisiting the case of Augustine Adubofour, he said his reinstatement to the port after he was transferred was spearheaded by Francis Asenso-Boakye, the Works and Housing Minister.

He indicates when he called the Minister on the day 32 containers got missing at the port, to inquire why he led the reinstatement of Mr. Adubofour, Asenso told him some constituents of his told him to bring him back to Tema.

Captain Smart says Asenso-Boakye told him that, when the party people asked him ‘to do something about it’, he admitted ‘I didn’t think over it well and placed a call for him to be reinstated’ as quoted by Captain Smart.

He has charged his viewers and listeners to stay tuned for details of those engaging in tax evasion with massive corruption to be exposed on Thursday with names and supporting images of their identities.
