A domestic fire outbreak has destroyed two bedrooms at Natwikumye, a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
The incident, which occurred around 1630hrs on November 21, left residents in shock as flames quickly engulfed the affected portions of the building. The exact cause of the fire is not yet known,
According to eyewitness reports, the blaze spread rapidly before community members could intervene.

Officers from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in Bibiani were called and they responded swiftly to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures. Their timely intervention helped bring the situation under control.
No casualties were recorded; however, household items and personal belongings in the two bedrooms were completely destroyed, leaving the affected occupants devastated.
Residents are urging authorities and fire safety experts to intensify public sensitization on fire prevention measures, especially as the dry season approaches.
Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the outbreak.
