The draw for women’s football at the 13th African Games was conducted on Thursday, February 1 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Ghana’s team was drawn in Group A as hosts.
The Black Princesses will, however, come up against Tanzania, Uganda and Ethiopia fr a place in the knock-out phase of the eight-team competition.
Group B has powerhouses Nigeria, Senegal and Senegal, joined by Morocco, to battle for a place in the quarter-finals.
The winners and runners-up will make it to the next stage of the competition.
The 13th African Games are set to begin on Friday, March 8 to Saturday, March 23.
