A total of 18 persons have been arrested so far by the Upper West Regional Police Command in connection with the killing of 11 people by some unknown persons in the Wa municipality.
A principal state attorney at the Upper West regional office of the Attorney General’s department, Saeed Abdul-Shakur had said on an Accra based FM station.
Mr. Abdul-Shakur says the Wa Circuit Court has granted bail to 8 of the accused.
The 10 remaining suspects are still in police custody pending further investigations into the killings of some persons in the last nine months.
Meanwhile, there is a GH₵100,000.00 ransom on the persons for informants whose report would lead to the arrest of the criminals.
Police have special purpose intelligence and investigation teams working with members of the community.
