The school’s disciplinary committee reportedly met all 85 students and submitted a report to the school’s board after interrogation, where the indefinite suspension was recommended and sanctioned by the board.

Meanwhile, majority of the students who are in their final year would be granted the opportunity to write their WASSCE.

Another student who was unfortunately paralysed partially after his head was hit by a machete during the mayhem is receiving treatment back home in Sehwi Wiawso and would be given his share of the sanctions after meeting the disciplinary committee when healed.

OnuaOnline is further learning the board recommended among the sanctions that the students would be made to bear the full cost of repairs to the damages caused to properties during the attack.

Whilst the headmaster of the school, Mr. Ofori Antwi says each of the students has been charged to pay a GH¢2,000.00 fine for the destructions caused at New Juaben SHS, second year students among the culprits are to secure accommodation outside the school with a letter after reporting themselves to the police.

All school prefects have also been demoted for failing to pick signals for the attack as part of the board’s recommendations.
