Monaco defender Mohammed Salisu has charged his teammates not to take their preparations for granted as Mali, their next opponents, have a strong team.
The Black Stars play the Eagles in a 2026 World Cup Group I qualifier on Thursday, June 6.
Already, almost all players called up by Coach Otto Addo are in camp, preparing for the game.
On Friday, May 31, the team held an open training at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Speaking to journalists after the session, Salisu said the match in Bamako is not going to be easy.
“We just need to train day by day [because] it is not going to be easy with Mali.
“They have a strong team and I think we need to prepare for this game.”

The former Southampton defender is confident, however, that the team can clinch the needed results over the Malians Thursday.
Ghana will return home to host Central African Republic in another qualifier on Monday, June 10.
The team is expected to depart Accra on Tuesday for the game in Bamako.
