Hassan Ayariga of the All People’s Congress (APC) has shot down the Vice President’s “It’s Possible” campaign slogan saying Ghanaians only see him as joke having in mind the hardship he and Akufo-Addo have plunged the nation into.
With it’s vision of breaking the ‘8’, Hassan Ayariga thinks the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should think of ending the ‘8’ rather than breaking it.
At a press conference to air his concerns on the state of the economy, the founder and leader of the APC, having compared the current economic indices with what the NPP inherited from the NDC noted Dr. Bawumia is not worth the mantle of the presidency considering how Ghanaians ousted Mahama whose administration was even better.
According to him, “if former President Mahama had to go because of Gh4.00 to $1.00, then why is Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia running for President @ GH16.00 to $1.00?”
“Dr. Bawumia should know that Ghanaians don’t have short memories, the suffering is real and escalating, so he should stop the jokes,” Ayariga noted.
The APC flag bearer also entreated the Vice President to stop asking Ghanaians to give him the steer, stating that he had the chance with his boss and messed it up.
“The steer was given to you and your boss and you both drove to a different direction. You have lost credibility as a party and as a candidate, no good policies, deceits and propaganda. Your only option left is vote buying,” he said.
He further advised Dr. Mamudu Bawumia to watch his slogan “‘it is Possible” indicating that, Ghanaian’s are not listening to him anymore because they have inflicted pains and suffering on the people. “So “ it’s possible” has no chance rather use that resources and change the narrative”.
“Our nation has become a banana republic under your watch and it’s pathetic Mr. Vice president,” Ayariga added.
