Flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has attacked the integrity of the NPP manifesto which is yet to be launched.
He has described it as a document of lies with four clear days to the launch of the manifesto.
The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to launch its Manifesto on Sunday, August 18, 2024 in the Central Regional capital of Cape Coast.
The announcement comes right after the opposition National Democratic Congress’ launch of its Youth Manifesto at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
Speaking on a campaign trail in its stronghold, the NDC flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama, told residents of the Volta Region Tuesday, August 13, 2024, that the document would be full of promises which they know they can’t fulfill.
“It’s always full of lies and promises. So, on 18th they will launch the manifesto of lies and tell you ‘we are coming to do this for you, we are coming to do this for you’ but they say, ‘first fool…is not a fool, second fool…is not a fool, who is the third fool? The third fool is the real fool. One child one egg, one child one chocolate,” he mocked.
Meanwhile, he has rejected the apology given by the Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam Antah, for the hardship the government has brought on Ghanaians.
John Mahama indicated that the apology should be given by the President and the Vice President who are the architects of the hardship Ghanaians have had to endure for the past 8 years.
