MTN FA Cup winners Nsoatreman FC have advanced to the next stage of the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers after a 2-0 away win over TP Elect-Sport of Chad.
The Ghanaians had beaten the Chadians 3-0 in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.
Goals in each half of the game, first from Walid Fuseini and the second from Stephen Diyuo on Saturday, August 24, were enough to send Nsoatreman FC through.
It is the first continental campaign for the Ghanaian side, which until two seasons ago were playing in the lower division of Ghana football.
Saturday’s second leg was played in Cameroon.
By the 5-0 aggregate win, Nsoatreman will face with Police FC of Rwanda or CS Constantine of Algeria.
