The police have arrested one Grace Siaw, who is said to be the girlfriend of Daniel Febiri, the prime suspect in the murder case of Asante Kotoko fan Nana Pooley.
The latest arrest comes as part of police investigations into the case.
Nana Pooley, real name Francis Yaw Frimpong, was stabbed to death on Sunday, February 2 after a Ghana Premier League game between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko SC.
Nsoatreman FC won the game by 1-0, coming after a brawl between the players during regulation time.
The League has not been played since the tragic murder.
Investigations have led to six arrests including one lady.
On Monday, March 3, Asante Kotoko announced that the girlfriend of the murderer was arrested and arraigned before court on Tuesday, February 25.
She is said to have hidden the suspected murderer for nearly two weeks before aiding him to abscond to Senegal via La Cote d’Ivoire.
“She was brought to court on 25th Feb and was remanded,” Asante Kotoko said.
‘She is to be brought to court today and we are waiting. More details soon.”
