Former champions Hearts of Oak have been held to another goalless draw in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians failed to score against Aduana Stars in the first game of Matchweek 5 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Friday’s game follows a goalless draw against Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese last Sunday.
Hearts of Oak struggled to end last season, resolving not to get into a similar situation this season.

However, the club has picked only one win so far this season.
The disappointing results have provoked fans to call for the head of coach Aboubakar Ouattara.
“The club is bigger than him. He should just go,” a fan said after the home game Friday night.
The Ivorian had taken on the fans after the goalless draw at Abrankese, insisting criticisms of him and his players should be constructive and without insults.
“When you shout, when you insult or criticise not because you don’t love us, [it is] because you want us to be more than that. I understand them.
“The only thing I don’t want is they criticise. Anybody can criticise. You criticise, you share a Black Stars jersey [but] criticise the Black Stars, everybody, we accept it but if it is a positive criticism when I am in my room alone, I will be thinking about it.
“But if it is insults because we don’t have any school, any university in the world where insults are learnt. Everybody knows insults from his family but it is not necessary.”
The 0-0 draw sees Hearts of Oak move to ninth on the log above Young Apostles, who have a game to play this weekend.
Coincidentally, the two will face off in Week 6.
Aduana Stars will also move out of the relegation zone with a point from Friday’s game.
Their next encounter will be against Dreams FC.
