The chances of the Black Stars qualifying to the Africa cup of Nations in Morocco look slimmer and slimmer after the 2-0 defeat to Sudan.

CAF has opted for head-to-head rule to separate teams tied on points rather than goal difference.

As it stands, Angola has already secured qualification after Sudan beat Ghana.

With the win over Ghana, Sudan now needs a point from the remaining two games to secure automatic qualification.

Should Ghana win all two remaining games against Niger and Angola, and Sudan lose all two remaining games, Ghana will have a chance of qualifying to the AFCON in Morocco.
