Finance analyst and Chief Operations Officer at Dalex Finance, Joe Jackson, has expressed his utmost support for President-elect Mahama’s decision to recover what has been stolen from the State.

This follows the constitution of a committee by John Dramani Mahama to spearhead the initiative, known as Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).

The decision has been lauded by many Ghanaians who believe Ghana is bleeding from state looting, commending John Mahama for taking the initiative to retrieve everything that has been stolen from the State.

Speaking on Onua TV’s special coverage ahead of the Presidential Inauguration Monday, January 06, 2025, the finance analyst stated that Ghanaians will be contented if Mahama is able to recover just the loot and fails to do nothing else for the State.

According to him, the volumes of the looting is so devastating that Ghanaians will welcome any move by the President to retrieve those sums.

“If Mahama recovers the loot and does nothing, Ghanaians will say he has done well. The loot is too much. I support ORAL,” Mr. Jackson told host, Captain Smart.

Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Committee, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has commended loyalists of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Ghanaians that have expressed support for the initiative.

He says the ORAL, which aims to retrieve all state assets misappropriated by people under the current administration has been given support by persons who want to see the nation restored on the principles of accountability and transparency.

A post made on his X Sunday, December 22, 2024, indicated that the initiative is meant to protect state assets that have been looted by corrupt and greedy individuals.

He averred that the Operation is not a partisan effort but a national cause, describing those unhappy about it as being a part of the NPP’s  “looting brigade”.

“Great to see more NPP stalwarts support Mahama’s Operation-Recover-All-Loot (ORAL). Predictably, all Ghanaians who were not part of the notorious NPP looting brigade are excited about ORAL. Nothing will stop the people’s ORAL!” he stated.

“This initiative belongs to every Ghanaian who believes in justice, fairness, and the responsible use of state resources,” he concluded.
