Former President, William Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has extended his warm wishes to the Muslim community in Ghana and across the globe as they commenced the sacred month of Ramadan.
He expressed hope in his message to the Muslim Ummah, that the period of fasting and prayer would further strengthen both individual and collective commitment to peace and good neighborliness.
“It is my wish that the period of Ramadan will strengthen further, our individual and collective resolve in the pursuit of peace and good neighborliness,” he stated.
Ramadan, observed by millions of Muslims worldwide, is a time of deep spiritual reflection, devotion, and self-discipline. It is also a period of charity and unity.
Muslims will embark on a month-long journey of fasting from dawn to dusk, engaging in prayers and acts of kindness in adherence to their faith.
