President John Dramani Mahama has paid a visit to the Vice President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, following the announcement of her illness and seeking treatment abroad.
The President, on Sunday, May 11, 2025, posted on his social media, a picture of him and the Vice President.
Together with him were the Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, and the Minister of Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza.
The President, as part of his post added a Mother’s Day wish to the Vice President and all mothers in the country.
He also disclosed that Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will be resuming duties soon after going for some break following her sickness and treatment.
“A special Mother’s Day greeting to my Vice President, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, whom I had the pleasure of visiting earlier this morning.
“She is taking a deserved rest after recovering from illness and looking forward to resuming her duties soon. To her and all Ghanaian mothers, I say Happy Mother’s Day,” the President posted.
