The balloting for the zonal fixtures for the maiden Onua-GC Brand Community League was conducted at the Executive Theatre of Media General on Friday, July 4.
The balloting was to select eight teams for each zone to play the weekly gala championships.
Representatives of the various communities which submitted entries gathered at the venue, counting on luck to be drawn from the many entries received.
The balloting was conducted in descending order from Zone 4 to Zone 1.
In Zone 4, Okai Kwei North, Kaneshie Awudome, Lapaz Racecourse and Nima were drawn.
The rest were Awoshie, Dansoman Community, Kasoa Mankomeda and Gbawe 1.
In Zone 3, La-Nkwantanang, Osu, Teshie Agblezaa, Chorkor, Spintex East Airport, La Town 11, Korle Gonno and Spintext Manet were drawn.
Adjiringanor, Dodowa, Kuntunse Community and Hebron Nsawam were drawn for Zone 2. The rest were Lakeside Abenwoha, Madina 1, Adenta and Aburi Amanfrom.
For Zone 1, Ashaiman Revelation, who won the Onua Gala a couple of years ago, drew bye with Ashaiman 1, Tema TOR 11, Tema Community 7, Community 2, Dawhenya, Sakumono Estate and Tema Community 13, joining them.
The first gala is scheduled for Saturday, July 12 at the Mexico Park in Community 2.
It will be preceded by a grand launch of the event.
The launch will have in attendance past and present Black Stars players, coaches, scouts and football administrators.
Finalists for each zonal gala championship will book their ticket for the grand finale scheduled for Sunday, August 10.
Among dignitaries who were present was Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA), Samuel Aboabire, as well as members of the National Supporters Union.
