Asante Kotoko’s travelling party consisting of 25 players and a dozen of officials has arrived in Durban, South Africa for Saturday’s Toyota Cup 2025.
The team left Accra on Tuesday night and arrived Wednesday morning at the King Shaka International Airport, according to the club.
“The Porcupine Warriors received a warm welcome from officials of Amakhosi on arrival and are lodged in at the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice,” the club said in a statement on Wednesday, July 23.
The team is expected to rest but will resume full training on Thursday.
The Porcupine Warriors will play Kaizer Chiefs at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium in this year’s Toyota Cup.
It forms part of the club’s preparations as they return to Africa next season.
