The Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, says the current security threats facing Ghana and the sub region need strategic approach and critical thinkers to deal with it.
She has therefore lauded the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College for introducing new disciplines which she believes would help address the current security threats.
“The introduction of the Multi-Domain Operations and Future Wars modules in the Ghana Armed Forces and Staff College is timely, given the evolving nature of contemporary security threats. Digitization awareness and cybersecurity issues are welcome additions to the curriculum, as technology is now shaping the trajectory of modern security operations.”

Speaking at the joint graduation ceremony of officers of senior command and staff course 46 and Master of Science 2025 in Accra on August 22, the Vice President urged the graduates to help address the security threats with the knowledge and skills acquired.

“Our collective safety rests in your hands. We continue to believe in you because we know you have undergone the right training,” she said.

Commandant of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Brigadier General Jackson Wonje said the College remains committed to ensuring academic excellence.

He added the College is embarking on an upgrade of its infrastructure to make it an institution for military and other professional training.
Deserving graduates were awarded.
