‎The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has assured residents of the Ashanti Region of improved power supply and enhanced customer service at a Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) meeting held at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi on August 29, 2025.

‎The meeting, chaired by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, provided ECG with the platform to present its ongoing and planned infrastructure projects aimed at ensuring reliable electricity supply.

The company also highlighted new initiatives to strengthen customer engagement and satisfaction.



‎Representatives of ECG at the meeting included four General Managers, the Regional Operations Manager, District Engineer, and Public Relations Officers.

‎Following the presentation, participants engaged ECG on issues of concern, to which the team provided responses. ECG further promised to engage presiding members and District Chief Executives (DCEs) in their respective assemblies to enhance collaboration and communication.

Speaking on behalf of ECG’s team at the meeting, the General Manager of Ashanti Sub-Transmission, Ing . Peter Kofi Fletcher said, “our mission is clear _to provide reliable, efficient, and customer focused electricity services to the people of Ashanti Region.

“We value the feedback from our stakeholders and will continue to work closely with the RCC, MMDCES, and communities to ensure that our projects bring lasting impact “.
