The reigning Queen of Ghana’s Most Beautiful, Queen Nihad Titiaka Oases Ibrahim, on Wednesday, September 17 paid a historic courtesy call on the President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House.
The meeting, described by Queen Titiaka as “a truly unforgettable moment” in her journey, offered her the distinguished opportunity to express gratitude to President Mahama for the immense support he extended to her during her GMB contest.
According to the Queen, that support played a pivotal role in her historic achievement of bringing the prestigious crown to the Savannah Region for the very first time.
“This milestone was not just a personal victory but also a collective one for my region, and I remain forever grateful,” Queen Nihad shared.
Presentation of Flagship Project
During the engagement, the 2024 GMB Winner, Queen Titiaka formally presented her flagship initiative, “Empowering Communities for Climate Action,” which serves as the central advocacy project for her reign.
The initiative is designed to promote sustainability through climate education, tree planting, clean cooking, recycling, and waste management interventions across Ghanaian communities; and the construction of a 3-Unit Classroom Block in the Savannah Region.

She also solicited the President’s support in driving the project, emphasizing that the fight against climate change requires leadership at every level and partnerships between government, civil society, and youth leaders.
Inspired by Leadership
Queen Titiaka expressed admiration for President Mahama’s visionary leadership and his continued role in shaping Ghana’s development agenda. She noted that his example inspires her to leverage her platform as Winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful to empower communities and contribute meaningfully to national and global climate action.
“His Excellency’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to national development continue to inspire me deeply. It is this kind of leadership that fuels my determination to use my platform to empower communities and contribute meaningfully to the fight against climate change,” she stated.
The former UPSA SRC Women’s Commissioner extended heartfelt appreciation to the President and his office for granting her the lifetime opportunity, describing the meeting as one that strengthens her resolve to keep working towards “a greener, more sustainable future for Ghana and beyond.”
Symbol of Hope
