Aduana FC missed a chance to extend their lead atop the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League after a narrow defeat to champions Bibiani Goldstars SC.

A first-half penalty by top goal scorer Samuel Atta Kumi gave the Miners a 1-0 win over the Ogya Boys at the Dun’s Park on Sunday.

Aduana FC were one point clear going into Matchday 12.

They were followed by Heart of Lions and Medeama SC, who dropped points on the day.

Lions drew goalless at home against Karela United FC while Medeama SC conceded a late goal to draw 2-0 against Asante Kotoko.

Therefore a win could have seen Aduana FC go four points clear.

Their next match will be against Basake Holy Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park.
