The 2024 running mate for opposition New Patriotic Party, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh (Napo), has extended his warmest wishes to all Ghanaians as the country celebrates its 69th Independence Day.
In a statement on his Facebook page on Friday, March 6,2026, Napo emphasized on the essence of patriotism and unity in diversity for the progress of the country.
To him, Independence Day celebration should serve as a reminder of Ghana’s rich history and the sacrifices made by its founding fathers.
“We have come far as a country, yet the journey ahead remains long. Nation building is a shared responsibility that calls for the dedication of our minds, the strength of our labour, and an unwavering commitment to unity.
As we celebrate Ghana at 69, may we renew this solemn vow to serve our nation faithfully, in every circumstance and at every moment, working together to build a stronger, united, and prosperous Ghana,” he wrote.
