Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has celebrated his 60th birthday with an act of generosity, donating essential supplies to the Village of Hope as part of efforts to support vulnerable children.
The items comprising food, toiletries, and other basic necessities are expected to ease the operational burden of the orphanage while improving the quality of life for the children in its care.
The gesture reflects a broader commitment by Mr. Debrah to social intervention and community upliftment.
The donation was presented on his behalf by Marietta Brew Appiah-Opong, Legal Advisor to the President, who led a delegation that included key figures from government and the National Democratic Congress.
Among them were Richard Kofi Asiedu, the party’s Central Regional Chairman, and Mike Derry, Regional Organiser.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Francis-Xavier Sosu, Member of Parliament for Madina, who has a personal history with the Village of Hope.
Having spent part of his early life at the facility, Mr. Sosu joined the delegation in presenting the items, offering a powerful reminder of the orphanage’s impact.
In remarks delivered on behalf of the Chief of Staff, Ms. Brew Appiah-Opong emphasized that the donation was driven by genuine compassion and a desire to make a meaningful difference.
She highlighted Mr. Debrah’s belief in extending leadership beyond public office into direct community support.
